What you'll be doing:
The Manager of Finance is responsible for leading, managing, and supervising the Finance team. This role includes participating in month-end financial reviews, supporting operations, budgets, audits, cost reporting, and contributes to financial analysis duties.
This position plays a vital role in overseeing financial operations, supporting initiatives, and fostering a collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise the assigned Finance staff.
- Participate in month-end finance reviews and provide support to operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and cost reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop short- and long-range operational and capital budgets.
- Assist in budget variance reporting and support gap closure efforts.
- Educate department leaders on financial tools and variance explanations.
- Foster team building and collaboration within the Finance department and with other stakeholders.
- Act as the local Finance subject matter expert, driving operational improvement projects.
