Reporting to the Director of Administration & Strategy, Health Advancement, the Health Advancement Finance & Operations Manager will be responsible for the central coordination and execution of all fiscal activities for Health Advancement as well as overseeing operations for the department. Uses advanced professional concepts and organizational objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Contacts are both internal and external to the department at all levels
Compensation Range:
$74,000.00 - $85,000.00

Required:
A minimum of 3-5 years of finance experience.
Advanced degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems. Ability to identify, collect, and analyze information from multiple sources. Advanced ability to effectively present complex finance related information both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner. In depth ability to use multiple spreadsheet and database software tools to gather information for specialized, complex financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports. Advanced interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization; advanced service orientation and critical thinking skills; and attention to detail. In depth ability to use organizational skills to multi-task in a high volume environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to function as a member of a team.
Preferred:
Advanced knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Knowledgeable of advancement practices in a complex academic health setting. Strong leadership and supervisory skills that promote productivity, dedication, and creativity to problem-solving and decision-making. Supervisory skills to direct guide and evaluate the efforts of administrative support staff.
Special Conditions Required:
May be required to drive on occasion in order to perform the routine or essential job responsibilities for the position. Must possess a valid California driver license and participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program.
