POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES The Finance Director is part of the Executive Director’s team. This is a key leadership role in the organization. Create and manage operating budgets for six nonprofit areas ($1.8M) and for REM, Inc. ($700K). Manage all accounting functions as well as cash and investment accounts ($12.3M on 09/30/21). Perform fund accounting per FASB guidelines for 52 endowment and capital-reserve project funds. Plan and track capital and major maintenance expenditures. Provide timely, actionable financial reports to executive management, programs, and committees. Primary liaison to member committees: Finance, Investment, Board of Assessors, and Internal Audit.
