Barnard College seeks an innovative and strategic leader as its Associate Vice President of Finance. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer & Vice President for Finance and Risk Management, the AVP serves as a senior finance and compliance leader of the College. The AVP is a member of the Finance & Risk Management leadership teams and is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating all accounting, financial reporting, payroll, procurement and risk assessment functions at the College.

Required Qualification Summary:
7 to 10 years of experience working in a management capacity in Accounting/Finance and will demonstrate the ability to think and plan strategically as well as provide a collaborative management style that ensures good management practices throughout the College in support of service, accountability, equity, and communications. A bachelor's degree is required. The successful candidate will also have earned a certified public accounting or certified management accounting certification or an advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
