The Director of Finance and Business Operations provide strategic direction and operational leadership for all financial and administrative functions of the surgery center. This key role ensures the organization’s financial stability, regulatory compliance, and data integrity by overseeing financial management, business office operations, and performance analytics. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, the Director collaborates closely with the Administrator, clinical leaders, and external accounting partners to align financial performance with operational efficiency and long-term strategic goals.

The Director is responsible for analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, monitoring budgets, and creating financial strategies to support the center’s growth and sustainability. The role also requires building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, staying current with industry trends, and implementing best practices to enhance the overall financial and operational performance of the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible financial management experience, ideally within an ambulatory surgery center, hospital outpatient department, or healthcare organization.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations, payor reimbursement methodologies, and financial reporting.
• Proven track record in developing financial strategies, managing budgets, and developing forecasts and variance analyses to drive operational efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare finance, regulatory compliance, and performance analytics.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
