Perform financial closing, planning and analysis, and reporting to local management team in the US and the headquarters in Japan. Ensure accurate and timely monthly / annual closing by providing financial performance results and analysis for assigned operations and provide interpretation of results to management. Supervise preparation of monthly/annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with financial reporting standards. Reconcile company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers and generate financial reports using income and expenditure data. Oversee subordinates in accounting and financial management tasks. Examine recording accuracy of accounting records, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, fixed asset and cash. Collaborate with auditors for external audits. Provide Systems Support & Maintenance to ensure data integrity. Direct budget planning and execution, optimizing resource allocation and driving financial performance across departments. Manage investment planning and capital raising processes to secure necessary funding, ensuring successful project execution and financial sustainability. Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure full compliance with tax regulations and timely fulfillment of all regulatory requirements. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience: Two (2) years of financial accounting and closing experience. Experience must include application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to support monthly and yearly financial closing process; use of accounting/reporting software such as Sage 50, Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAP, or MS Excel for financial accounting and closing.
