The primary purpose of this position will be to work on enhancing the use of the Banner Finance ERP and other auxiliary systems. The key responsibilities will be to be to enable Banner Finance Systems enhancements, review security architecture, troubleshoot issues, and look for ways to improve business processing and operational efficiency. They will serve as a key liaison between functional finance departments and Information Technology Service Staff to test and implement new technology within the Business and Finance Division.

The Process Improvement/Operational Excellence Unit supports the Business & Finance division and the University strategic goals by assisting with continuous improvement and the implementation of innovative fiscally responsible best practices. - Masters degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, MIS, Computer Science Information Systems or related field - Five years of Ellucian Banner Finance experience updating data and working in finance operations. - Five years relevant work experience in business analysis, process redesign, and/or project management. - Minimum of 3 years of work experience leading projects/teams thru upgrades and validation testing, or business system analysis - Experience with sql or report writing
