Responsibilities
As a Technical Delivery Lead, you will lead the cross functional delivery of strategic finance and group initiatives and enhancements and be able to apply technical solutions to business problems in the Financial and Group reporting space You will be delivering high-impact projects partnering with multiple stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be adept in program and / or product management and operations. They will be a skilled program and project manager and a problem solver that earns partner and stakeholder trust.
Lead and manage successful delivery of highly cross-functional program initiatives & enhancements
Drive strategic cross-functional planning, leading discovery and prioritization by closely partnering with stakeholders, source systems to develop program plans, including roadmap, dependency identifications and resourcing plan
Work with scrum team to come up and drive appropriate solutions , architecture and implementation for the initiatives & enhancements
Plan, lead and drive projects through entire lifecycle
Foster collaborative partnerships across functional teams including remote teams
Ensure transparency of Demand/Capacity Planning and own the resolution of risks, dependencies, and blockers from Delivery end
Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the platform
Coordinating with key stakeholders across teams to improve alignment, develop joint priorities with the technology and business teams
Collaborates and partners with different business &/technology team to ensure all processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed
Work with Product Owners to build subject matter expertise in the team, groom the Product Backlog, and incorporate feedback loops to ensure team remains adaptive/responsive to changes (user testing, customer feedback, validate MVP)
Identify risks and issues early, work with team on the mitigating steps , communicate to all stakeholders appropriately and drive them to closure in a timely manner
Drive big room planning and Quarterly release planning sessions to align and agree on the product backlog items to be delivered
Manage on-time delivery of projects within agreed scope and approved budget
Requirements
Work experience and have extensive experience in running projects in an agile way
Demonstrated leadership skills and success in project implementation
Prior knowledge of banking products, financial accounting, regulatory & capital reporting and finance processes will be a plus
Experience on mainframe Replatform will be a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex issues to stakeholders and team
Ability to influence, by bringing together stakeholders, team members with competing priorities, interests, and concerns is critical in Agile product management
Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and commitment
Good understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
Scrum Master certification an added advantage
Hands-on experience in new stack (with Java, springboot) development / management will be an added advantage
