UNL Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Director of Accounting & Finance to assist in maintaining our general ledger, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and oversee subsidiary accounting. This role involves leading staff, assisting campus business staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting plus 7 years of relevant professional accounting experience required. Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP or similar ERP system necessary. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) essential. Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; organizational; and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Higher Education and University of Nebraska policies and procedures. CPA is desirable.
