The position provides financial, operational, and general business support in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This individual will monitor internal awards and commitments from the time they are made, until the projects have ended, including several points of correspondence in between. The position will handle Accounts Payable processing for ORED units, will backup the review of bi-weekly payroll time entry as well as eshop purchasing. The individual will also provide high level reports on the financial status of research centers and units.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma plus 3 years of related finance work experience required; equivalent education/experience considered. Must possess strong knowledge of accounting and business applications, including spreadsheet software. Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team essential.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related degree. Experience with grant management and/or knowledge of federal regulations desirable. Prefer database/reporting skills; knowledge of SAP or other accounting software; and experience in higher education.
