Job Overview
Perform key daily accounts payable duties such as customer and vendor inquiry resolution, invoice data entry, and review of electronic invoices and payment requests. This will be a hybrid role with an in-office commitment of 2 days per week.
Essential Functions
- Prepare invoices received for data input into accounting system.
- Evaluate purchase order invoices against the purchase order in accounting system and determine approval route.
- Invoice data entry for purchase order and non-purchase order invoices.
- Field internal customer service inquiries from university departments to resolve payment issues.
- Address vendor inquiries and work with vendor to resolve.
- Review all invoice interface errors in business-to-business procurement system and resolve standard errors.
- Review and process E-Forms, including payments for non-employees.
- Gather data for reporting related to key performance indicators.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
Associate's Degree
Three (3) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
One (1) year of relevant work experience.
