JOB SUMMARY The Budget & Accounting Analyst position is primarily responsible for the weekly review of accounting and purchasing staff for accuracy and completeness, including final approval of weekly invoices. Additionally, this position will provide a wide range of financial, administrative, technical, and functional support to executive finance staff and other departments across the City. Purchasing: Review the work of the Accounting and Purchasing Assistants for accuracy and completeness Final review and approval of invoices for weekly disbursing check runs Ensure all departments are in compliance with approved purchasing policies and procedures Act as a backup for weekly disbursing check
