Position Overview The Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports directly to the President & CEO and is responsible for overseeing the airport’s financial strategy, operations, and compliance. This includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, securing funding, and managing investor relations. The CFO will ensure fiscal responsibility while supporting the airport’s long-term strategic goals.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GASB principles.
• Experience with airport/aviation finance, including FAA funding programs.
• Ability to pass airport security background checks.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.

Preferred:

• CPA certification.
• Airport Certified Employee (ACE) – Finance.
• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with municipal government debt and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV accounting software.
