The Assistant Director of Finance provides fiscal oversight and management, reporting and analysis, policyinterpretation and guidance to department leadership, managers, financial units, faculty and other staff. Theincumbent holds fiduciary responsibility to ensure financial activities adhere to University of California andexternal regulatory policies and guidelines and that cost accounting principles and standards are met andestablishes and maintains internal controls and streamlined business processes.
