The William B. Greene, Jr. School of Business & Technology at Milligan University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Finance. This is a nine-month faculty position (paid over 12 months) with an anticipated start in August 2025. This role is integral to our mission of delivering high-quality education that integrates finance within the broader context of business administration.

Key responsibilities include: Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance, including Corporate Finance, Managerial Finance and Investments; Employ innovative teaching methods that foster engagement and promote critical thinking among students; Mentor and advise students, helping them to achieve their academic and professional goals; Actively participate in departmental, college, and university activities that support the mission of Milligan University; Engage in curriculum development and program assessment to ensure the highest standards of academic excellence; Serve as the Investments Club faculty mentor.
Qualifications: Successful candidates should have a doctorate in Finance or related field (ABD candidates or master’s degree candidates may be considered), demonstrated excellence in teaching, the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic environment, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A desire and ability to integrate faith and learning in a Christian liberal arts environment is essential. Successful candidates should also demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Milligan’s mission as a Christian liberal arts university.
