To meaningfully participate in the development and advancement of strategic initiatives and to provide financial and administrative capacity to the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Team.
To manage the corporate accounting and financial functions of the Cooperative. To plan, direct, coordinate, review and monitor all financially related policies and procedures to ensure the proper utilization and internal control of the Cooperative’s assets.
To ensure that rates and margins are appropriate to maintain a continue sound financial position. To ensure the cooperative has adequate short-term and long-term financing available.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
Ability to perform complex financial analysis and to prepare budgets. Knowledge of banking and financial investment required. Ability to organize work, meet deadlines and manage a department.
Must be computer literate with emphasis in the use of Windows based word and Excel and data processing software.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to be an effective member of a management team is required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar discipline required; Master’s degree preferred. Experience and training in RUS accounting and finance procedures a must.
Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience in a senior level accounting position in RUS accounting and finance. Previous supervision of employees is required.
