Description The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor of finance beginning Fall 2025.
Candidates should have their doctoral dissertation (in finance or related discipline) completed or near completion and show promise or evidence of significant scholarship and teaching ability at the graduate and undergraduate level. All fields within finance will be considered, including but not limited to Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, and Household Finance.
Qualified candidates for tenure-track positions must hold a Ph.D. in Finance or related disciplines (or expect to complete the PhD degree by the time the position starts), have excellent research and teaching skills, and must demonstrate the ability to produce scholarly work at the highest level. Finance faculty teach in MBA, MS in Finance, and/or undergraduate programs.

The projected salary pay range for this position is $200,000 to $256,000, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation for this position. Compensation is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
