Perform complex accounting, auditing, and reconciliation functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense voucher review and financial approval, journal entries, and purchasing. Responsible for performing first review of accounting documents to ensure proper documentation and signature authority is included and also reviews documentation for potential NCAA violations. Trains and advises employees on preparation and submission of expense reports and purchasing documents. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree and 3 years increasingly responsible accounting experience required; equivalent education and experience considered. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles essential. Must have experience with Word, Excel, and Access applications. Excellent organizational skills necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of University policies and procedures preferred. Working knowledge of SAP and Peachtree helpful.
