The incumbent provides high level administrative, organizational and analytical support to Revenue Cycle. Incumbent is responsible to independently organize and manage specific processes and information, coordinate the exchange of confidential and complex information between these areas and internal or external constituents and to research and provide information in a timely manner necessary for Revenue Cycle leadership to make critical operational decisions. Performs routine clerical duties as requested. Provides administrative support to the Administrative Manager as necessary.
Essential Job Functions:

Cussvc_ As a representative of the Finance Office, works cooperatively with all services and managers to extend excellent service to patients, families, employees, and visitors who identify special requests or customer service issues. Assists in the resolution of complaints/issues by providing information in the most efficient way, seeing problem completely through to resolution 10%
Anlys_Reviews and summarizes reports and documents. Prepares background documents as needed 10%
Anlys_Participates as a member of the administrative support team and provides support to the Office Manager and any Finance Director as necessary. Remains informed of organizational goals, objectives, priorities, etc. which may impact the type of administrative or analytical support necessary 10%
Anlys_May process payroll for an assigned group of employees. Monitors and reports trends such as overtime utilization, productivity, etc. Assists in managing requests for time off and communicating approvals / denials. Completes necessary paperwork related to leaves of absence, educational leave, etc. 10%
Anlys_Independently responds to calls, letters, or general correspondence of a routine nature 10%
Anlys_Effectively identifies, locates and evaluates sources for collecting credible analytical and factual information and data. Determines the best formats (charts, spreadsheets, etc.) for communicating such information / data and provides in a timely manner for review by the Finance Directors and for use in high level presentations and decision making 10%
Anlys_Coordinates the exchange of confidential and complex information between the Finance Directors and their internal colleagues or external community members. Prioritizes information requests. Anticipates informational needs and acts on behalf of the Finance Directors to obtain such information 10%
Anlys_Attends meetings on behalf of the Finance Director and/or represents the medical center Finance administration to the public as needed 10%
ADM_ Accurately prepares, copies and distributes correspondence and documents. Coordinates department purchasing as requested and follows up to ensure timely delivery/receipt. Coordinates activities associated with meeting management such as room reservations, catering requests, travel arrangements, media equipment needs, agenda development, preparation of minutes, and follow-up. Manages complex calendars of others and schedules, accepts, and declines meetings/appointments and events on their behalf. Provides effective departmental telephone coverage, taking accurate message and providing information to callers as appropriate 20%

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience working in a role that provides administrative support to a leadership position
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated advanced computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ability to create and produce complex reports using computer programs such as Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint and Visio
Ability to act independently to solve problems and develop recommendations for approval
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of UC policies and procedures
Knowledge of The Joint Commission requirements for personnel files
Knowledge of JCAHO requirements
