DescriptionThe Director of Finance of the Stein Eye Institute (JSEI) and the Department of Ophthalmology (Department) reports to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and as required to the Chair of the Department. The Director of Finance provides problem resolution as required for faculty, institutions, and UCLA departments; prepares annual budgets, monitors budget variances, and prepares various university financial reports. This position works closely with the Chair, CAO, and the School of Medicine to resolve financial problems and implement fiscal policies within the Department.
