In this position you will work in a down-to-earth company culture that offers great development opportunities in a fast-growing market with a lot of responsibility right from the start. As right-hand to CFO/CEO you will lead the company's operational day-to-day- business, including project management, transaction advisory, expedition of integration as well as overseeing value creation and PMI/PMO efforts.
The position can be based in Munich. What the job involves
Act as a strong sparring partner to the CFO in all finance matters, including management of German accounting, compliance, controlling, treasury and tax processes as well as playing an integral part in business development
Planning, organization, and execution of growth strategies, including M&A transactions and the subsequent post-merger integration
Cross-functional coordination of all project participants including target companies, internal departments as well as external consultants (M&A consultants, auditors, lawyers)
Coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Budget planning and forecasting
Preparation of investment cases including company valuation and presentation of decision papers to internal committees (e.g., management, the advisory board and the investor)
Who we are looking for
Strong educational record (bachelor's or master's degree) in the field of Finance, Business or Economics
Previous operational experience ideally from a previous portfolio role (M&A Management, Controlling, Finance Lead)
Extensive practical experience in the execution of M&A transactions (due diligence, valuation, project management, SPA negotiation)
Profound knowledge in financial planning & analysis, business valuation, modelling of business cases and complex financial models
Strong analytical thinking skills as well as strong communication and organizational skills
