Soci??t?? G??n??rale Securities Services (SGSS), the Securities business line of Soci??t?? G??n??rale Group, is one of the main Administration and Custody actor for the Fund industry in Luxembourg. We offer a complete range of services for institutional clients: liquidity management, compensation, depositary and conservation services, funds administration and asset servicing, transfer agent and issuer services.
As a V.I.E. Accountant Private Equity, you will be part of the accounting team covering Alternative Investment Funds (Private Equity and Real Estate) where you will contribute to the support of our long-term relationships with our clients and internal partners.
You will be given the opportunity to front key clients as their dedicated accountant.
Your role :
Initiate the process of accounting and NAV calculation
Recording all operations in the accounting system (GP3 - PERES and Alfas)
Making the VAT declaration
Producing financial statements
Producing specific client reportings
Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.
Profile required PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Accounting
A previous experience in Accounting/Finance would be appreciated
Fluent in English and in French (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Proficient/Good command of MS Office
Good communication and presentation skills
Good knowledge of LuxGaap or IFRS or FRGaap
Self-driven and able to work independently
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
