We are delighted to be engaged by a Hong Kong-based securities house to hire a Finance Manager. An opportunity is available for a seasoned or rising star to take up a Finance Manager position with an expanding business here in Hong Kong.
This is a replacement position and you will report to the Finance Director, and you will be given the opportunity to work on internal projects and be the pillar of guidance for the team, you are expected to show leadership and technical skills to finance team members in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Handle monthly reporting, regional video meetings on finance-related matters
Lead a team and coach a small team of junior officers to ace their work, while you also gain valuable experience in working on finance projects
Business partner with company business leaders, taking up the role of a finance business partner while also handling the financial reporting, management reporting, and regulatory reporting for FRR and financial returns.
Daily liquid capital computation, cash flows and margin loan position under SFC supervision
Financial analysis and be able to guide the C-levels and bring numbers to life.
Your background:
We don't need a superstar, but we do need commitment and professionalism in the ideal candidate. We love to meet candidates who have the below qualities and experiences.
Finance & Accounting or equivalent degree graduate as a minimum, you must be a qualified chartered accountant or CPA-qualified
Candidates with an auditing background and commercial experience working in SFC 1,2,4,9 firms are mostly welcome, must have SFC 1 and 2 experiences, especially in dealing with futures contracts.
Assistant Managers who are ready to take up a Manager role are highly considered.
Great interpersonal and communication skills. We need a finance professional who is able to explain the financial statements to our stakeholders.
English, Mandarin, and Cantonese are language skills required.
Experienced in SAP or Oracle will be advantageous.
