The pharmacy manager will oversee the Pharmacy Finance unit and advise the Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer in Business Services. The manager will be responsible for daily management for the financial, budgetary and revenue cycle operations and accountable for business processes within the department and assures alignment with goals and objectives of the organization and the pharmacy enterprise.
Strategic collaborations with multiple teams including but not limited to the Pharmacy Supply Chain, 340B, Informatics & Analytics teams and UCDH Finance, Revenue Integrity, Budget Planning, and Patient Financial Services teams and supports the Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer.
Oversees financial improvement initiatives, ensure State and Federal regulations, Joint Commission and professional practice standards, as well as University and department policies, procedures and standards. Oversees and coordinates the development of pharmacists and analysts to meet requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants are encouraged to upload license and certification if required of the position.
Registered Pharmacist in the State of California.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm D) or equivalent training.
Completion of PGY-1 practice residency, 3 years of work experience in health system pharmacy practice.
Preferred Qualifications
Lean certification is preferred
PGY2 or 5 years of experience in one of the following practice areas - Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership, 340B, Business Analytics, Finance, Revenue Cycle, Automation, Technology.
Practice in multi-site or system roles is preferred
Experience using and/or management EMR, Epic hospital billing, medication charging.
Comprehensive knowledge of finance and budget policies, practices and systems; budgeting and reporting techniques, capital resource planning; accounting, revenue cycle management, pharmacy reimbursement rates.
Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis abilities.
Proficient in financial analysis, business analytics software, and data visualization platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Written and oral communication skills to clearly & concisely develop business plans, proposals, presentations, and financial reports.
