Position Summary:
Provide support to the Director of Business Intelligence, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Department Chair as well as the department's clinical administration unit. This will require ability to critically identify department issues related to data analysis under the Clinical Integration Economic Model. Under general supervision, the incumbent is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and analyzing clinical activities including charges, work RVUs and professional revenue of approximately 150 clinical faculty worth more than $35 Million.

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Working knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
Ability to gather reasonably retrievable information to organize, and perform basic financial analysis assignments. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated ability using spreadsheet and database software for moderately complex financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports. Demonstrated interpersonal skills at all levels within the unit; excellent service orientation and critical thinking skills; and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability using organizational skills to multi-task in a high volume environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to function as a member of a team. Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to interpret and summarize complex financial information and narrative reports pertaining to such topics as budget development fiscal planning and reconciliation. Ability to audit documents and determine compliance to policies
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and employ effective problem solving techniques.
Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality of financial and personnel matters
Demonstrated skills to independently analyze situations, interpret data, define problems and/or objectives, identify relevant factors, and formulate logical conclusions and recommendations. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage a complex workload in an environment with changing priorities and competing deadlines
Possess excellent mathematical, financial/business and analytical skills with the ability to formulate clear and concise budgets, financial spread sheets, and reports useful for planning and decision-making.
