The Global Financial Shared Services team is responsible for finance related activities such as the reconciliation of customer monthly activities resulting in a monthly invoice or settlement, assisting Accounting in revenue estimates, providing financial reporting such as billing trends, variance drivers and journal entry guidance. This position will also provide an opportunity to develop financial and business acumen, collaborative and business partnership skills and a chance to be an effective liaison with senior finance, field ops, marketing, customers, and IT.
This position can be remote but ideally based in Houston, Texas area.
Responsibilities:
Support software enhancements working with offshore teams to develop and implement testing, assist with SOPS and potential training
Lead salary reconciliations and offshore billing team on descrepancies
Support offshore billing team in daily activities - contract interpretations, customer queries, review of trade receivables file
Processing monthly payments, support of monthly Access database processes and settlements, review of monthend drivers.
Complete wire reconciliations
Actively participate in Kaizen, Just do IT events to identify and implement best practices.
Support development of improved CHC monthly processes using Alyteryx.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
3-4 years project management or Accounting/Planning experience preferred
Strong organization skills
Strong communication skills
MS Office proficient with emphasis on Access
