About the Find Finance Team/Overview
This position is in the Fund Finance & Reporting group at RREEF Management, LLC, a real estate investment advisor, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of DWS. The Fund Finance & Reporting group oversees the out-sourced fund administration functions including property and fund accounting, client reporting and performance measurement for all RREEF advised direct real estate vehicles in the U.S. (approximately $36 billion assets under management).
The successful candidate will provide support for the performance measurement and client reporting processes for all real estate clients. The candidate will gain an understanding of industry specific performance measurement concepts and apply that knowledge in review of both recurring and ad-hoc deliverables. This position interacts with 3rd party fund administration team as well various RREEF teams including Portfolio Management, CFO, Fund Finance and Client Coverage. The position is in Chicago within the firm's Illiquid Asset Operations (IAO) group and offers a hybrid working environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Maintains strong cross-functional relationships, consistent communication and cooperation with the IAO and other groups at RREEF to support department and company initiatives
Reviewer of select performance measurement data, including both recurring quarterly deliverables (consultant questionnaires, audit confirms, etc.) as well as ad-hoc requests such as RFPs and RFIs.
Interact with external contacts including the Fund Administrator, auditors, GIPS verifiers, and other third-party service providers.
Assist with firm-level initiatives including AUM reporting and GIPS verifications.
Assist with investor processing activities for commingled funds including data entry, data quality checks and statement preparation.
Serve as system administrator for in-house developed performance measurement calculation system.
Complete ad hoc projects and tasks to improve efficiency and processes
Stay educated on real estate and accounting industry updates and trainings including new NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards and GIPS Standards.
Your Skills & Experience:
Four-year college degree required with a concentration in finance/accounting or related business field
Minimum 1-3 years' experience in financial services industry
Real estate investment knowledge preferred
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Motivated, self-started with the ability to problem solve
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
