The College of Engineering and Information Technology’s Dean’s Office and Division of Information Technology requires a Senior Staff Member, a part of the College’s Leadership team, to oversee and manage the college’s finances, administration, facilities, shared services and other special projects in both the college and DoIT.

Leadership and oversight of college level Budget, Finance, and Operations
Serve as the Chief Financial and Operations Officer for both COEIT and DoIT.
Responsible for the planning and submission of the college and DOIT fiscal budget.
Serve as an senior advisor to the Dean, Associate Deans and Department Chairs regarding funding strategic financial initiatives and/or priorities.
Responsible for accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for all college funds.
Responsible for college level Human Resources activities including serving as College liaison to Human Resources.
Leadership of Shared Services Center
Oversee the operations of the College’s Shared Services Center (SSC) and set strategic goals and objectives for each of its units. Tasks falling under the Shared Services Center include: Research Proposal Development and Submission, Grant Administration, Payroll, Procurement, Travel, Department Level Financial Planning and Analysis.
College Research Administration and Operations
Partnering with the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development (ADRFD) establish and oversee a research administrative structure within the college which supports high service support directly to faculty for grant proposal generation and submission (pre-award).
Facilities/Space Management
College point for new building construction to include Program I and II planning, equipment identification, construction monitoring, coordinating safety and security concerns, occupying new spaces, and ongoing monitoring facilities.
Management and Supervision of Employees
Provide staff with meaningful and appropriate guidance/coaching throughout the year.
Perform quarterly PMPs for direct reports to ensure goals and objectives of each are being met, and development issues are being addressed.
Strategic/Long-term Planning
Implementation of a college approach to formal long-range planning, including: space, staffing, finances, students (recruitment), etc.
Provide support for in-depth and data driven analysis to support recommendations and/or decisions related to the strategic priorities of the college.
Inventory Control
Oversight of all college capital and sensitive inventory.
Ensure scheduled audits of college physical inventory are carried out on required scheduling.
Special Projects
Solve serious problems or provide sensitive data to the Dean as requested
Serve as Dean's representative to manage personnel matters within the College.
Manage and handle projects for Dean that require tact, diplomacy, confidentiality, and/or the leadership of a senior staff member.
Counsel to Dean, Chairs, Faculty and Staff.
Other Duties as Assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or other related fields.
10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance and administration.
At least 5 years of experience working directly with and advising an executive level position.
At least five years of supervision experience in the management of a large team consisting of multiple levels.
