Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business is searching for a full-time contract faculty position in the Department of Finance for the 2023-24 academic year. Our courses are typically taught in person, on the South Orange campus. The candidate should have a minimum qualification of a Master’s degree plus relevant work or teaching experience. Candidates are expected to teach basic and upper-level/graduate finance courses. We are seeking someone who can meet qualification standards for AACSB accreditation for this type of position and is a passionate, effective teacher. This is a non-tenure-track position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A contract faculty position typically teaches 4 courses each semester. The successful candidate, however, will be expected to teach 3 courses each semester and receive a one-course release per semester to advise approximately 200 finance students throughout the year.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum qualification of a Master’s degree in finance or business plus relevant work and/or teaching experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to serve a diverse student body using online technology.
