Position Summary:
Are you ready to take on the exciting challenge of coordinating, collaborating, and supporting the financial activities for 70 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education- (ACGME) accredited, medical residency and fellowship programs with a great team of Graduate Medical Education (GME) professionals? The University of Buffalo (UB) GME Office is seeking a detail-oriented individual with great financial skills to join our team as a Financial Manager. As UB GME's Financial Manager, your key responsibilities will include accounting, funding, and budgeting with guidance from an experienced Chief Financial Officer and support from a Medicare Financial Analyst
These projects and processes include:
Accounting; A/P, A/R and journal entries;
Ad hoc analysis and research;
Annual budget project coordination;
Trial Balance review and management;

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and/or equivalent of three (3) years' experience in the financial related field
Advance level knowledge Windows and Microsoft software applications, especially excel using chart, pivot tables and reporting applications.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Multiple Project management coordination
Preferred Qualifications:
Payroll and Benefit cost experience a plus
Proactive, organized, and self-motivated
Experience with AccuFund, S.I.R.I, and Concur Software programs
