The Administration and Finance Coordinator manages central administrative and financial functions for the Office of Medical Education. The position provides high-level administrative and project support to the Associate Dean for Medical Education and coordinates financial processing with Dean's Office finance unit. Duties include coordinating HR documentation and workflows, managing the faculty appointment process, and executive-level calendar management.
The coordinator should thrive in a setting that requires a customer-service focused work ethic, and ability to shift priorities while maintaining attention to detail. A high level of discretion with confidential matters is key to success in this position. This role requires strong judgement, relationship building skills, and effective oral and written communication. The ideal candidate is organized, has experience working in Excel and previous experience supporting leaders and working with databases to generate documents and reports for executive leadership.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
