Under direct supervision of the Controller, the Finance Coordinator (aHEO) will be responsible for assisting with the daily analytical functions of the Office of General Accounting. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
??? Coordinates financial matters for a program, department, or related entity under management direction.
??? Develops and implements new reporting procedures to facilitate financial reporting, revenue analysis, and internal control; assists with strategic planning.
??? Play key roles in reviewing the Non-Tax Levy bank reconciliations and financial schedules in preparation for the mid-year, year-end audits.
??? Prepare monthly commission and budget reports in coordination with Campus Activities Office.
??? Analyzes the Non-Tax Levy trial balance accounts and assesses the accuracy and completeness of each balance.
??? Tracks and maintains financial data to provide financial reports and forecasting revenue in preparation for NTL variance analysis.
??? Provide guidance in accounting and financial policy issues following current GAAP and GASB rules and managing revenue and accounts receivable collection.
??? Serves as a resource reference to interpret and comply with University Bank Account Policy, Cash Accountability Policy, and other related college policies pertaining to the NTL accounts.
??? Performed ad-hoc reporting, special projects, and analysis reports.
??? May supervise subordinate staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
??? Bachelor???s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar is required.and two years of related experience preferred.

??? Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & GASB rules.

??? Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in time-sensitive projects.
