The primary function of this role is to be the Finance project manager/product owner for Finance driven projects and to represent Finance in bank-wide and group led projects. Incumbent will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the Finance Change Management Team Lead.
Main Duties
Finance project manager for Finance driven projects/initiatives
Assisting with project business case
Eliciting requirements from business users
Requirements organization, analysis and communication
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
Liaise with business user to design and implement target operating model/processes
Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
Training business users
Coordinating project plan across various stakeholders
Facilitate UAT
Oversee Production roll out
Provide administrative documentation for projects
Represent Finance in bank-wide and Group led projects (e.g. Group ERP, MAS 637 projects)
Gathering and documenting requirements from Finance business users
Requirements organization, analysis and communication to project team
Facilitate training and UAT for business users
Coordinate and facilitate business users for production roll-out
Other duties
Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures for existing Finance related applications/processes
Qualifications
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of working experience in a finance or business risk role within a financial institution
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning software implementation
Experience with Temenos T24 Core Banking Application
Experience with AGILE SCRUM execution
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain balanced risk-reward perspectives.
Good written and oral communication skills;
Hands on experience in any ETL tool
Candidate with knowledge of the basic Order flow process used at a private bank
Education Requirements
Minimum Degree holder in Banking & Finance / Computing / Information Technology / Engineering Discipline
