About our client

We are partnering with a Global Sustainability Fund which is looking to bring a Junior Operations and Finance Analyst into their London office. This a fantastic opportunity to work across multi asset classes and focus on sustainable investments from a finance and operations perspective. This broad position will provide exposure to transaction data management, fund finance, fund management and ad-hoc duties such as valuations within an impressive firm, with a positive and collaborative workplace environment. What the job involves

• Ensure that all transactions are booked in the internal system in an accurate and timely manner
• Update valuation of the underlying investments in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with preparation of annual accounts for investing entities
• Assist with the review of statutory accounts prepared by external counterparty
• Support cash management function - ensure that liquidity is available where/when it is needed
• Stay up to date with the Private Equity team's activities and funding requirements via interdepartmental meetings

Who we are looking for

• Operations/accounting experience
• Accounting or Finance Degree from a top university
• Very strong attention to detail
• Good analytical skills and understanding of financial markets and instruments
• Well organised, disciplined approach to work, with a positive problem-solving attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, given the significant degree of both internal and external interaction
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and some investment administration software
