REPOST --- UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and Big XII conference member (effective July 1, 2023), is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Director, Business and Finance.
An entry level position under the leadership of the Associate A.D., Business and Finance, the selected candidate assists in the management and coordination of the Athletics Business Office within UCF, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
review and audit expense reports and purchases for assigned departments
administer invoices/reimbursements and reconcile credit card transactions in Workday
prepare, monitor, and analyze assigned budgets
prepare ledger and general journal entries within Workday
assist with month close tasks, as well as year-end reporting
assist in training of Workday system and business office policies / procedures
Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience. Prefer previous business office / bookkeeping experience, to include Workday and Microsoft Office applications; organizational and interpersonal skills; and attention to detail.
