What Transformation Management Office contributes to Cardinal Health

Transformation Management Office is responsible for the design, build, project planning, prioritization and implementation of function-wide transformation programs. This job family will maintain transformation roadmaps and ensure visibility and accountability for commitments and deliverables. The Transformation Management Office designs and delivers business analysis and process optimization over Shared Services and Partner information, optimizing and enabling people, process, and systems. This job family is the liaison for Cardinal strategic initiatives associated with M&A activity, IT engagements and audit/control risk.
Job Summary
The Vice President, Finance Transformation is the lead finance person supporting transformation efforts in the Invoice to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Contract Management and Financial Planning and Analysis spaces. This role supports the work performed by the Global Financial Shared Services team and works heavily with the business and finance leaders in Cardinal Health's two operating segments. Main responsibilities include ideation, planning and execution of end to end process improvements, implementing transformation projects with the goal of adhering to the financial business case and project timelines established. In addition to process transformation, this role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting and analysis of results for the Transformation Management Office. This role is also responsible for the development, leadership engagement of five direct reports.
Responsibilities
Ownership, prioritization, execution and change management of the rolling 6 quarter Finance Transformation roadmap across all towers (FP&A, Contract Management, Invoice to Cash, Record to Report and Procure to Pay)
Established a portfolio prioritization approach to optimize value and align the transformation portfolio to our strategic priorities while ensuring buy in and support from the Finance Leadership Team (FLT)
Ideation, discovery, delivery and adoption of transformation initiatives spanning process optimization, automation, data governance and analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence in partnership with Business Process Owners and Global Process Owners
Oversight of the annual Finance Transformation budget and corresponding project accounting responsibilities
Drive effective relationship management and consistent communication to all relevant transformation stakeholders
Ownership of strategic Transformation partner relationships
Manages a team of 5 direct reports, with a total team size of 28 team members
Qualifications
15+ years of experience
BA or BS, Advanced Degree preferred
Technical experience in one or more of the finance towers (Invoice to Cash, Procure to Pay, FP&A, Record to Report or Contract Management)
Experience in project management or consulting
Experience navigating a matrixed environment or direct experience in transformation preferred
Understanding of the development and maintaining a strong control environment
