The Clinical Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial reporting for both the Department of OBGYN & RS and the Health System. This position will be responsible for providing consultation and recommendations to the Senior Finance Director and the Associate Chair. In addition, the Clinical Finance Manager, together with the Administrative Directors, will hold management responsibility for all clinical business interests, including cost center budget preparation, regular and timely financial reporting, and projections for all clinical areas. The Clinical Finance Manager will take the lead in developing financial projections for new clinical enterprise growth projects, including outreach sites, partnerships with other Departments, and community providers. The Clinical Finance Manager will drive system operational performance, achieving efficiency targets, and ensuring the highest integrity for the business operations of the OBGYN & RS clinical services. In addition, the manager will work collaboratively with research administrators and will also be responsible for the training of new staff members on the clinical finance team.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
