Be yourself and start your career here. Help us build a better Brockport! Job Summary: SUNY Brockport seeks a Finance & Management Analyst to join its Budget Office Team. Reporting to the University's Director of Budgeting, this professional position will be responsible for various tasks related to the financial and internal control responsibilities of the Finance and Management unit. Tasks include miscellaneous financial reporting, financial system security, internal control program organization, and internal control campus reviews. The Finance and Management Analyst will also support the Assistant Vice President for Finance and Management by performing various other financial and support tasks on an as needed basis. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Management or a related field by time of appointment, from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
Minimum of two-years professional employment experience in accounting, business, financial analysis, or organizational budgeting.
Demonstrated experience organizing or managing projects.
Demonstrated ability to independently utilize computerized financial systems.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Excel at an advanced level.
Experience providing a high level of customer service and the ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and prioritization of tasks are necessary to effectively meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with college and external constituencies, with an appreciation for cultural and group differences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a higher education setting.
Experience working in a SUNY higher education institution.
Experience with organizational internal controls.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $61,000. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport.
