Morgan McKinley are looking for someone who has worked in a Business Partnering role begore or a fast paced organisation and is keen to add value through production of detailed and accurate reporting, as you will be business partnering primarily with the Finance Director and the other Finance business Partners. You will be instrumental in improving the teams performance and efficiency across the board and highlighting opportunities for the division to capitalise for the organisation.
This is a permanent role, offered with bonus, 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays, private healthcare, life assurance, flexible working and more.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering you will be tasked with the following:
Work closely with, support, influence and challenge assigned business unit managers providing 'real time' support and analysis
Support managers with budget compliance and hold regular finance reviews with department managers and Management Committee members, analysing adherence to budgets and forecast
investment appraisals
Track metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
Help maximise the value of spend restricted by the financial regulations
Proactively engage with stakeholders to drive improvements and support stakeholder initiatives
Various project based activities including support of significant procurement projects and tender processes for assigned departments
Project manage and support commercial decision making
Support new business and customer proposals as required
Support procurement team with supplier selection and contract negotiations
Prepare regular, timely and insightful reporting including monthly management accounts, capex and headcount for assigned departments
Coordinate and prepare detailed planning, budgeting, forecasting, forecasting and analysis processes for the assigned departments and working with the rest of the Business Partnering and FP&A Team, consolidate into an overall view for the business
Complete month end processes for assigned departments and prepare analysis and commentary on the results
What you will need:
Experience in job roles such as Analyst/ Finance Analyst/ Data Analyst/ Finance Business Partner/ Audit Senior/ FP&A analyst/ Assistant Finance Business Partner/ Commercial Accountant/ Management Accountant/ Head of FP&A
Qualified ACA or ACCA or CIMA
Be analytical and data savvy, strong excel user or used reporting tools previously
Strong communicator who can build relationships
Be a problem solver who enjoys breaking down a problem and creating the right analysis to help find a solution
Able to produce meaning full data to non-financial stakeholders using Powerpoint etc
Demonstrable ability to challenge the status quo, solve problems and deliver innovation
