The Department of Medicine’s Division of Infectious Diseases is engaged in the management of an international, multicenter clinical trials network (funded by the NIH) to advance therapeutics in HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and viral hepatitis. As the Financial Analyst, you will assist with grant management.
Assure that all incoming invoices and outgoing payments are tracked and reconcilable to ACTG records
Review expenditures on a monthly basis for vendor services and subaward invoices to ensure guidelines and policies are met
Maintain invoice flow sheet and work with LOC finance staff to coordinate invoice delivery to A/P
Reconcile expenses
Establish a system to manage a high-volume research invoicing system
At least one year of grant management experience
Experience with clinical trials budgeting and NIH Policies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Flexibility to occasionally work overtime as needed
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Excellent time and organizational skills with attention to detail
Not required, but a plus if you have the following:
Prior experience working with federally funded research grants
Working knowledge of UC and funding agency policies on grant submission and grant administration
