Summary: Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Director of Finance directs all the Georgia Ports Authority finances, treasury, billing, collections, and Credit Union activities. The Sr. Director of Finance upholds the values of the GPA to promote Safety, Integrity, Respect, Community, Creativity and Opportunity.
Location: Garden City, GA (Savannah area)
Experience Requirements: The position requires at least five years in a senior financial management role and experience in Board level reporting. The Senior Director of Finance will manage a team of 5 staff, so previous management experience is a must. The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator, manager, and team member, who will interface well with all levels of the organization. A proven track record as a finance professional and exceptional reputation are required.
Educational Requirements: Four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance AND CPA license are REQUIRED.
