Summary
In this role, you will be accountable for the day-to-day reporting and management of Treasury for Caliber Financial services and its clients. You will be accountable for tracking and reporting back to clients on portfolio payment performance, in accordance with NACHA rules, and will collaborate with others to gather information necessary to create weekly, monthly, and yearly cash flow models. You will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining a treasury management system and will be required to demonstrate a sophisticated level of communication and collaboration. In this role, you will be the point of contact for all banks and payment processors of the business and clients and will be part of an organization that places great value on providing innovative payment options for their clients to offer customers. This has been identified as a new and critical high-profile role that will impact all aspects of our organization.
What your day will look like:
Update, maintain and review of daily cash flow models
Cash forecasting and management of client funding requirements
Development of NACHA compliance tracking system
Develop positive and effective relationship with internal stakeholders including finance, risk, marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure accurate reporting of clients funding and performance metrics
Lead model development to manage funding, cash flows, distributions to owners, and capital structure
Contribute to ongoing development and refinement of client funding models to include analytics to optimize funding efficiencies
Regular analysis focused on portfolio analytics and wider finance team projects
Manage third party providers, including but not limited to banks and processors
Assist broader finance and accounting teams with preparation of accounting analysis including bank account reconciliations and cash flow analysis
Contribute to monthly Treasury reporting and input into funding strategy proposals as required
Other duties as assigned
Experience:
5+ years experience in complex treasury and cash flow modeling
CTP certification preferred
AAP certified preferred, current expertise in NACHA guidelines required
Experience adhering to risk and control frameworks and developing operational processes to ensure accurate financial records and reporting, as well as developing a treasury framework supported by robust operational and finance controls
Excellent analytical mind with strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel/VBA user with the ability to develop and review complex models and analysis
Strong communication skills to engage with others and build support for positive change
Ability to complete assignments and prioritize workload with limited supervision, be resilient under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to demonstrate an innovative mind-set and develop implemental ideas which have a positive impact on the business
Ability to analyze legal documents and accurately transpose to models where necessary
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting or Finance from four-year College or University.
