Job Description:
At Regions the Equipment Finance Operations Specialist is responsible specialized clerical work and supporting equipment finance operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Carries out specialized research to resolve problems
Helps train personnel in the department
Recommends latest methods to improve departmental procedures
Monitors laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Maintains forecasted production to meet departmental goals
Enters and balances accounts receivable on a daily basis
Processes bills for payment
Issues checks for accounts payable
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the non-exempt FLSA classification for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED and two years of banking related work experience
Strong PC skills and excellent written and oral communications skills
Show initiative while being a self starter with the ability to handle time pressures while working efficiently and accurately
Strong organizational skills are a must with the ability to multi-task
General knowledge of banking procedures
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintains current insurance on REFCO contracts
Processes title related work
Preferred Requirements
Previous experience working with titles is a plus
Previous experience working with commercial insurance is a plus
