The BU School of Public Health (SPH) is looking for a highly motivated, customer service focused, results-driven Assistant Director of Admissions to play a key role in implementing recruitment strategies and overseeing the daily operations of the Admissions team. As Assistant Director, you will play a crucial management role and be rewarded for your drive, innovative ideas and results.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean of Admissions, the Assistant Director will plan and implement an effective recruitment strategy to recruit and yield high quality students for our Master of Public Health, Master of Science, PhD and DrPH programs.
Manage the daily operations of the Admissions office including admissions counseling, outreach letters, campus visits, and informational sessions.
Lead initiatives that strategically integrate current students and alumni into recruitment efforts.
Creatively design, develop and implement communication strategies for our degree for all media outlets including print, email, website and social media campaigns.
Represent the school at various events and conferences nationally, regionally and locally. Engage and nurture relationships from initial student contact through new student orientation.
Execute a state of the art customer service experience that focuses on engagement and brand awareness at every touchpoint.

5+ years of experience working in admissions, student recruitment or related field in higher education
Experience with admissions recruitment and small and large group presentations required
Ability to work and travel during peak admissions season for recruitment purposes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced, multi-faceted, changing environment
