SENIOR FINANCE AND OPERATIONS (F&O) ASSOCIATE, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to serve as financial and operational lead for a portfolio of up to two major initiatives at J-PAL and work with senior F&O staff to ensure efficient operational management at J-PAL. Will coordinate grant- and gift-related financial activities for major J-PAL initiatives and/or program areas; pull data from internal MIT accounting systems and prepare regular financial reports on grants for donors and J-PAL staff; and report on spending compared to budget, monitor subaward spend progress, and advise project managers and senior management on financial position, spend-down, potential issues, reforecasting, and gaps in project funding.
Job Requirements REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least three years of relevant experience in a field such as grant management or finance. PREFERRED: experience with financial budgeting, tracking, and projections. Job #22330-7
