We have partnered with one of the worlds leading Real Estate businesses on their hunt for a Management Accountant. They have a high-performing team, stellar reputation & name that is respected and recognised in most cities around the globe.

This is a hybrid position and will require someone to be able to commute to Huddersfield. You will be the main point of contact for a multitude of high-value contracts which will require you to work with a variety of finance & non - finance areas, whilst working directly with the different clients. This will allow you to develop those key business partnering skills along with the other commercial/ analytical elements of the role.

Some of the other duties include:

• Identify and resolve any areas of financial weakness within the Portfolio in a timely manner
• Develop targets and benchmarking processes to challenge the financial information
• Prepare accurate reports for the Portfolio which feed into Business Unit reports in line with strict monthly company timetable including full Profit & Loss account with analysis and commentary, Balance Sheet extracts and reconciliations, and detailed Project Profitability reporting.
• Recruit appropriate contract support who are trained to the correct performance standards
• Ensure the scope of the contract support role is correct and understood
• Identify key stakeholders, including the Central Finance team, prioritize their needs and review on a monthly basis
• Provide financial and contract support leadership and direction in the Portfolio. This will involve personal attitude, use of skills and dissemination of knowledge
• Use specialist knowledge and experience to provide insight and influence
• Act as a specialist partner to the account management team to both advise and challenge contract managers on performance

We are looking for a newly qualified/qualified accountant with the confidence to work in a customer-facing role. Ideally, you will have strong accounting skills and commercial awareness of the performance of a business. Experience working within a Real Estate/B2B company is not essential but is preferred. Strong management accounting and analytical skills are essential to the position together with a working knowledge of statutory reporting.

Salary: ??50k + ??5k Cash Allowance + Bonus
