Job Description:
At Regions, the Corporate Loan Fulfillment Manager will oversee and lead the team with a focus on continuous improvement, relationship building, communication and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate is goal oriented and comfortable driving cross-functional collaboration across the fulfillment segments. This individual will work at both a tactical level while identifying strategic improvement opportunities for the overall success of the fulfillment segments.
Primary Responsibilities
Partners with business partners to develop, recommend, and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and revenue, seek opportunities to increase efficiency and advance technology solutions
Facilitates routine staff meetings and participate in other leadership meetings and committees throughout the Corporate Bank
Ensures timely identification, mitigation, resolution, and reporting of issues of a regulatory, audit, procedural or other significant nature
Proactively initiates procedural updates and participate in the development through coordination with Credit Products Training
Establishes, monitors, and tracks goals and objectives for your organization
Responsible for recruiting, disciplinary actions, individual goal setting, performance reviews and coaching.
Collaborates with Quality Assurance partners to ensure timely and appropriate reviews are conducts and take appropriate remedial action when required. Continuously evaluate the program to ensure key risks are accounted for and adjust accordingly.
Maintains connectivity and relationships with 2nd and 3rd line of defense partners to ensure the team is operating under the appropriate regulatory and procedural guidelines.
Promotes a strong culture that provides an environment for the associates to grow, learn, and collaborate that demonstrates Regions' core values and results in a highly engaged and cohesive team.
Reports key SLA metrics
Drives continuous improvement through innovation.
Leads teams that support multiple segments within the Corporate Bank.
Partners with one or more of the following segments: Real Estate Banking, Real Estate Corporate Banking, Regions Equipment Finance, Diversified and Specialized Industries, and Problem Asset Management.
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and five (5) years of corporate banking and management experience
OR High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of corporate banking experience and five (5) years of management experience.
Skills and Competencies
Self-motivated, strong work ethic and responsive with a sense of urgency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and time management skills
Demonstrates knowledge of commercial credit, regulatory (including BSA/AML, Beneficial Ownership, OFAC, Flood Regulations) and documentation policies
Leads by example
This position supports Regions Equipment Finance. Experience with equipment finance is preferred.
