POSITION SUMMARY: . The Director will provide management and dotted line, but not direct oversight of the front-line FCS accounting staff. The Director will have primary oversight of the College’s Fleet, Parking, Mailing and Duplicating units and supervision of the Facilities and Campus Services Information Technology staff and security/meal plan functions. The Director will be the primary support in preparing of the fiscal year budgets, mid-year forecasts, as well as monthly management reporting and analysis for the operating units within Facilities and Campus Services. This position, with assistance from the Assistant Director, will provide a full range of financial support including creating and/or updating financial and operational analysis, performing financial activities in support of various functions, e.g., budgeting, auditing, and financial planning, which includes extracting financial data from various accounting and information systems to perform basic to moderately complex statistical and financial analysis, and for preparing reports
Education: Bachelor’s degree in the area of accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field from an accredited College or University, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA or Master's degree in relevant field preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the areas of budgeting, finance, or accounting is required, with 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity, preferably from a college or university.
REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Weekend and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division. A hybrid schedule is available at the supervisors’ discretion.
