Reporting to the Endowment Manager, the Endowment Analyst will be providing capacity to analyze, report on and support the operation of the endowment. This position will overall drive the growth of the department by supporting the Foundation budget projections and to remain more fully invested in the market. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
??? Cash management strategy and analysis. Analyzes and creates reports on target allocations and rebalancing of funds of the Short- Term Assets
??? Investment analysis. Analyzes and creates reports on actual versus target asset allocations and rebalancing of funds of the Long -Term Assets
??? Participates in endowment spending policy reviews to ensure funds are in compliance with Foundation policy and donor intentions and creates related reports
??? Coordinates the preparation of investment documentation for audit process
??? Returns allocation. Compiles and analyzes data to prepare and distribute financial reports and presentations on the Pools
??? Regular communications to divisions. Develops and runs queries from internal and external systems to create reports
??? Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy
??? Maintains current information on department web site(s), manuals, and other materials
??? Admin fee calculation. Participates in special projects as assigned
??? Old account reconciliation
??? Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
??? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or MBA or other advanced degree in a business discipline preferred; Advanced degree or CPA may replace 1 year of service
??? Professional accounting or financial licensure/certification (CPA) preferred
??? Knowledge of GASB reporting requirements strongly preferred
??? Intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Excel spreadsheet functions to perform complex data analyses (vlookup, pivot tables, sorting) strongly preferred
??? Detail oriented and accurate with strong numerical analysis, evaluation and research skills
??? Strong writing, verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
??? Work effectively individually and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders of various; organizational levels, and follow up and complete assignments
VACCINE REQUIREMENT:
Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.

An employee, or eligible dependent, must meet certain criteria and the request must be approved by EmblemHealth before the exemption is granted.
