Serves as an experienced liaison interacting with financial administrators within operational units on financial, budget or accounting matters to prepare, advise and recommend.
Provides financial input based on the development of data collection, metrics, reports and other analytical applications.
Analyzes, organizes and communicates business information to ensure deliverables are meeting or exceeding expectations.
Manages the key processes and functions of the office, including preparation for Board of Trustees meetings, internal University finance governance meetings, and outreach to the Universityâ™s finance community of practice.
Works independently to conduct research, analyze issues, and create Board level presentations and reports for review with the Provost, CFO, AVP for Finance, F&A Chief of Staff, Budget Office Director, and other senior leaders as necessary.
Leads development of communications, presentations, or special events related to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer as needed.
Gathers and analyzes financial and operational data from multiple sources across campus to inform decision-making.
Acts as a resource and subject matter expert for University finance related data and topics.
Effectively handles highly sensitive, and often highly confidential, information using considerable tact and diplomacy.
Manages logistics for finance governance committees and finance community of practice meetings and events.
Supports the Chief of Staff to the Chief Financial Officer to manage finance governance processes for the Board and University in collaboration with all members of the Finance and Administration Division senior leadership team, Provost's Office, other academic and administrative divisions on campus, and the Universityâ™s Office of the Secretary.

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or related field.
Experience:
Expertise in analyzing financial statements.
Experience in higher education industry highly preferred.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Expertise in presenting financial and non-financial data in MS PowerPoint.
Expertise with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint highly preferred.
