1. Participates in the development of various financial and administrative departments policies and procedures. 2. Supervises and controls billing activities; process cask payments; the preparation of invoices; processing payrolls; and various other projects. 3. Ensures financial functions are handled in a timely and accurate basis and in compliance with University regulations and guidelines. 4. Supervises exempt and/or non-exempt staff; prioritize, assign, and monitor work; set standards and expectations. 5. Supports the maintenance of an internal control environment that ensures data integrity and adequate audit trails, paper and record retention, security and other necessary control measures; makes recommendations where necessary. 6. Provides customer service: answers questions, researches and addresses problems, resolves issues; trains customers and staff on new solutions, procedures, and processes. 7. Maintains one or more functional databases; responsible for data entry, accuracy, and integrity; reviews error reports, analyzes exceptions, and develops, communicates, and/or implements appropriate solutions. 8. Produce a variety of metrics and statistical reports. 9. Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, contractual requirements and University policy. 10. May perform other duties as assigned.
